Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 3 tablespoons aquafaba
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt coconut oil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in coconut sugar, aquafaba, and vanilla extract. Pour into almond flour mixture and stir until combined.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
