Ingredients

  • Pork chops - 4
  • Freshly squeezed orange juice - 1 cup
  • Ginger - 2 tablespoons, grated
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Sear the pork chops in the hot skillet for 2 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the grated ginger and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the orange juice, soy sauce, and honey. Stir well to combine.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until the pork chops are cooked through.
