Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken chunks, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, and olive oil. Mix until the chicken is evenly coated.
  2. Place the flour in a shallow dish and dredge each piece of chicken in the flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
