Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Add diced tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add fresh basil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve over your favorite pasta or pizza.
