Ingredients
- 1 12-oz. bag of fresh cranberries
- 1/3 cup of white sugar
- 1/3 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of orange juice
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Directions
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the cranberries, white sugar, brown sugar, orange juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, orange zest, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the cranberry sauce cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the cranberry sauce to a serving bowl and serve.
