Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 8-10 taco shells
- Shredded lettuce
- Shredded cheese
- Sour cream
- Salsa
Directions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Add the onion and garlic powder and cook until the onions are soft, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in the cumin, chili powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Spoon the ground beef mixture into the taco shells, top with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and salsa.
