Ingredients

  • 1 package of angel food cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups of sliced fresh peaches
  • 1/4 cup of white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the angel food cake mix, melted butter and flour. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the mixture into a 9 inch pie plate.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, cornstarch, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix until combined.
  5. Pour the peach mixture into the pie plate.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top of the pie.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.
