Ingredients

  • 1 head of fresh broccoli
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, cheese, red onion, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are combined and the mixture is creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli and toss to combine.
  4. Serve the salad chilled or at room temperature.
