Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Optional: 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing on top
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
- Add the cold cubed butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
