Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugars until combined.
Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking until fully incorporated.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop the dough by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are just slightly soft.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
