Ingredients

  • 1 flat-iron steak (1-2 lbs)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups spinach, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Directions

  1. Mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, black pepper, and sea salt in a small bowl. Rub the steak with the seasoning mix.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until cooked to desired doneness.
  3. Remove steak from the skillet and let rest. Slice into thin strips.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the spinach, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese, and balsamic vinegar. Toss to combine.
  5. Add the steak strips to the salad and toss to combine. Serve immediately.
