My Italian Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with your favorite pasta.
