Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. Add the flour and mix until combined.
  5. Transfer the dough to a cookie press and press out 2-inch cookies onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
