Ingredients
- 1 8-ounce package of mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup of onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package of refrigerated crescent rolls
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms, and cook until softened.
- Stir in flour, stirring constantly for one minute.
- Gradually add chicken broth and stir until combined. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, salt, black pepper, and cheese.
- Separate crescent rolls into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of the mushroom mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the crescent roll around the mushroom mixture and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
