Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  7. Flatten each ball into a flat circle, about 1/4-inch thick.
  8. Place the flattened dough circles on a greased baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown.
  10. Remove the bread from the oven and let cool before serving.
