Ingredients

  • 2 fillets of white fish such as cod or haddock
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of white wine
  • 1/2 cup of cream
  • 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the breadcrumbs, egg, and flour in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Dip the fish fillets in the mixture, coating completely.
  4. In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  5. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Add the white wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Add the cream and parmesan cheese and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Add the fish fillets to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes.
  9. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  10. Serve with the sauce and enjoy!
