Ingredients

  • 1 pound of chicken thighs, skinless and boneless
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup of white vinegar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

Directions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  2. Add the garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, bay leaves, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. Serve with steamed rice.
