Ingredients
- 1 9-inch pre-made pie crust
- 6 slices of bacon, diced
- 1/2 cup of diced onion
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 cup of grated Swiss cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion and cook until softened. Remove the onion from the skillet and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Line the bottom of the pre-made pie crust with the bacon, onion, and cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture into the crust.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
