Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, milk, egg, raisins, and caramel sauce.
- Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fill the prepared muffin cups with the batter. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing to cool completely.
