Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large bowl, combine the flours, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Add in the pepitas and mix until combined.
In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin and beer. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Transfer the batter to a greased 9-inch loaf pan. Top with extra pepitas.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool before slicing and serving.
