Ingredients
2 lb. prime rib roast
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. sea salt

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix together to make the seasoning.
Pat the roast dry with paper towels. Rub the roast with the olive oil and then rub in the seasoning.
Place the roast in a roasting pan, fat side up. Insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the roast.
Roast the prime rib in the oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until the internal temperature reaches 135°F.
Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
