Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup cubed French bread croutons
  • 1 large onion, sliced into thin rings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. Place chicken breasts in a shallow baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour wine and chicken broth into the dish. Dot with butter.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle croutons and onion rings over chicken. Return to oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
