Ingredients
1 lb. ground sausage
1 onion, finely chopped
2 ribs celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage and onion until the sausage is cooked through and the onion is soft and translucent.
Add the celery and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Remove from heat and stir in the bread crumbs, sage, thyme, salt and pepper.
Spoon the stuffing into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the stuffing is hot.
