Ingredients

  • 1 package of store-bought sponge cake
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups of custard
  • 1/2 cup of jelly
  • 1/2 pint of heavy cream

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut the sponge cake into cubes and spread them out on a baking sheet.
  3. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle them over the cake cubes.
  4. Bake the cake cubes for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the custard and jelly.
  6. In a large bowl, whip the cream until it is thick and fluffy.
  7. To assemble the trifle pudding, layer the cake cubes, custard mixture and cream in a trifle bowl.
  8. Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  9. Serve chilled.
