Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter, melted
- 2 cups of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of cocoa powder
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
- 2 cups of miniature marshmallows
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until all ingredients are combined.
- Stir in 1 cup of the chocolate chips. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the marshmallows and remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips over the top. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
