Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, eggs, and salt. Stir until well blended.
- Fold in the pecans, and pour the mixture into the pie shell.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
