Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the wild rice, and cook for 15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the cooked wild rice to the skillet, season with garlic powder, salt and pepper, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve the wild rice warm.
