Ingredients
1 ½ cups arepa flour

2 cups warm water

Directions
In a large bowl, combine arepa flour and salt. Slowly add warm water and stir until the dough forms.
Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll each part into a ball.
Flatten each ball into a disc about 1/4-inch thick.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the discs onto the skillet and cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and butter. Spread the mixture onto each cooked arepa.
Serve warm.
