Ingredients

  • 1 cup of black rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Directions

  1. Bring the 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot over medium-high heat.
  2. Once the water is boiling, add the black rice, olive oil, and salt.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for 20 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  4. Remove from heat and fluff the rice before serving.
