Ingredients
- 4 apples
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
- Melt butter in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Slice apples into 1/4 inch thick slices. Arrange apple slices in the baking dish on top of the melted butter.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apples.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until apples are tender.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil together, stirring frequently.
- Once melted, drizzle the chocolate over the apples.
