This Christmas Wreath Cake is not only visually stunning, but also delicious and perfect for the holiday season. The cake is moist and fluffy, topped with creamy frosting and festive decorations to resemble a traditional Christmas wreath.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Green food coloring
  • Red and green sprinkles
  • Mini candy canes

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a bundt cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cake cool completely before removing from pan.
  9. Once cake is cooled, tint frosting with green food coloring and spread over the top of the cake.
  10. Decorate with red and green sprinkles to resemble holly berries and leaves.
  11. Arrange mini candy canes around the edge of the cake to create the wreath shape.
