Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the almond milk, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, or until smooth.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  6. Spread the softened vegan butter evenly over the dough.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
