Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground spring lamb
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Place a small spoonful of the lamb mixture in the center of a dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold over and press to seal, creating a dumpling. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place dumplings in the skillet in a single layer, making sure they do not touch. Cook for 2-3 minutes until bottom is golden brown.
