Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 4 cups cooked white jasmine rice
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions

  1. Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
