Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 spiral-sliced ham (8-10 pounds)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, combine the honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, orange juice, lemon juice, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the mixture is well combined and heated through. Remove from heat.
  4. Place the spiral-sliced ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Score the surface of the ham in a diagonal pattern with a sharp knife.
  5. Pour half of the glaze over the ham, making sure to coat all sides.
  6. Cover the ham with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  7. Remove the foil from the ham and pour the remaining glaze over it. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally with the glaze.
  8. Once the ham is glazed and golden brown, remove it from the oven.
  9. Let the ham rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  10. Serve the honey-clove glazed ham warm and enjoy!
