These Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs are the perfect party appetizer. Creamy and flavorful, these deviled eggs are filled with a delicious mixture of egg yolks, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese. Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
- Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 minutes.
- Drain the eggs and transfer them to a bowl filled with ice water. Let them cool completely.
- Peel the cooled eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a separate bowl. Set the egg white halves aside.
- Mash the egg yolks with a fork until they are crumbled. Add the mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, and crumbled bacon. Mix well until creamy and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves. Garnish with chopped chives.
