Ingredients
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 24 ladyfingers
- 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Directions
- Pour the brewed coffee into a shallow dish
- Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee and arrange them in a single layer in the bottom of an 8x8-inch dish
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the ricotta mixture
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the ladyfingers
- Dip the remaining ladyfingers in coffee and create a second layer on top of the ricotta mixture
- Spread the remaining ricotta mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers
