Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz egg noodles, cooked

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add beef slices and cook until browned, then remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in garlic and flour, cooking for another minute.
  5. Slowly stir in beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  6. Bring mixture to a simmer, then stir in sour cream and paprika.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, then return beef slices to skillet.
  8. Simmer for a few more minutes until heated through.
  9. Serve over cooked egg noodles and enjoy!
