Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 package phyllo dough, thawed

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the spinach, feta cheese, parsley, dill, and green onions.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the spinach mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Brush a 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter. Layer half of the phyllo sheets in the bottom of the dish, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  5. Spread the spinach mixture over the phyllo sheets. Cover with the remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  6. Score the top of the pie into squares or triangles using a sharp knife.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is set.
