Enjoy the flavors of San Francisco with these succulent and flavorful pork chops. Marinated in a tangy and savory sauce, these chops are pan-seared to perfection, giving them a crispy crust while keeping the meat juicy and tender. Serve them with a side of roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the marinade coats the chops evenly. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.
- When ready to cook, remove the pork chops from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels. Discard the marinade.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute and make the chops more tender.
- Serve the San Francisco pork chops hot with your choice of sides.
