- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced celery
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 6 cups cubed cornbread
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 teaspoons dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups chicken broth
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the diced onion, celery, and minced garlic. Saute until the vegetables are tender.
