  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (such as almonds, pistachios)
  • 1 tablespoon condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Directions

  1. In a heavy-bottomed pan, pour the milk and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and let the milk simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
  3. Add the sugar to the milk and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes until the milk reduces to half its original volume.
  4. Now, add the cardamom powder, chopped nuts, condensed milk, and heavy cream to the milk mixture.
  5. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  7. Once cooled, pour the kulfi mixture into popsicle molds or small bowls.
  8. Cover the molds with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and insert popsicle sticks.
  9. Place the molds in the freezer and let the kulfi set for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  10. To serve, remove the kulfi from the molds by running them under warm water for a few seconds.
  11. Gently pull out the frozen kulfi from the molds and enjoy!
