Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups of graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup of melted butter
  • ⅓ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • ½ cup of granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 4 chocolate bars, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and ⅓ cup of granulated sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated with butter.

  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let it cool completely.
  5. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the heavy cream, chocolate chips, milk, cornstarch, ½ cup of granulated sugar, and salt over medium heat.
  6. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
  7. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  8. Pour the chocolate filling into the cooled graham cracker crust.
  9. Top the pie with the chopped chocolate bars, evenly distributing them over the surface.
  10. Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours, or until the filling is set.
