Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Spread half of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows evenly over the brownie batter.
  7. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the marshmallows, spreading it evenly to cover the marshmallows.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot brownies. Let them sit for a few minutes until the chips melt, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the brownies.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares. Enjoy!
