Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of konbu seaweed
  • 2 tablespoons of bonito flakes

Directions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a medium-sized pot.
  2. Add the konbu and reduce the heat to a simmer.
  3. Simmer for about 10 minutes and remove the konbu.
  4. Add the bonito flakes, stir, and remove from heat.
  5. Strain the stock into a bowl or container and let cool before using.
