Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and salt.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
Sprinkle the crushed peppermints over the top, if desired.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or until the fudge is set.
Cut the fudge into small squares and enjoy!
