Ingredients

  • 1 lb whitefish fillet, skinless and boneless
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Place the whitefish fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Cover the dish and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs and olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with the oil.
  5. Remove the whitefish from the marinade and roll in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
  6. Place the whitefish on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and golden-brown.
