Ingredients

  • 1 pound of fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 2 cups of cooked and cubed chicken
  • 1/2 cup of frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 4-5 minutes or until the onion is tender.
  4. Stir in the cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper and bring to a low boil.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cooked chicken, peas, and parsley.
  7. Drain the cooked fettuccine and add it to the skillet.
  8. Stir to combine the ingredients and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately.
