- 2 pounds fresh asparagus
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups vegetable broth

Directions
- Trim the tough ends of the asparagus and cut them into 1-inch pieces.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
