Ingredients
- 4 cups peeled and diced potatoes
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 cups chicken broth

Directions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add in onions and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the flour and stir to combine. Cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add the potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
